Marine, photographer, 26, suffered from obesity: she weighed approximately 220 lb. Today, she has lost 79 lbbut still struggles to accept her own body as well as the way other people view her. A therapist watches over her and assists her to regain self-esteem, both physically and mentally.For several months, Marine has been directing the portrayal of bodybuilders in their daily life and  intimacy. From encounter to encounter, she asks them about their bodies, their frailties, their “shells”, etc. Behind the portrait of these “outside the norm” men and women, that of Marine inevitably arises; the one of a woman seeking transformation…
